The Story Behind Beautiful Cosmetic Glass Bottles – The Fruits of Chinese

Manufacturing Labor Everyone knows that the Chinese people are a very hardworking nation; they diligently use their own hands to change their lives, the environment, and the world. This is greatly reflected in the glass bottle factories used for cosmetics.

Behind the Bottles: Steel Warriors

Under High Temperatures In the Northern Hemisphere summer, when the outdoor temperature is around 37°C, if you come to our glass bottle manufacturing workshop, you will feel that the workshop temperature is around 40°C. Here, machines roar, and molten glass at over 1000 degrees Celsius continuously enters the blow molding mold. The mold operates continuously, shaping glass bottles of various forms. The intense heat of the glass bottles bakes the bottle makers here, forcing them to constantly drink water to regulate their body temperature. Sometimes, the temperature in the glass bottle-making workshop reaches an astonishing 50°C or higher.

Because glass forming cannot tolerate large temperature differences and requires slow annealing and cooling, air conditioning is generally not possible in the bottle-making workshop.

In summer, even a normal person standing still at room temperature would be drenched in sweat, let alone the workers here.

Besides the high temperatures, the bottle-making workshop also experiences extremely loud noise (equivalent to dolphins constantly yelling in your ear), simultaneously damaging the ears of the workers near the furnace. Even with earplugs, the sound of the machines can still cause tinnitus through bone conduction.

Ordinary people experience splitting headaches just by approaching the workshop, and many are even afraid to enter the forging workshop.

And in this environment, our workers work for eight hours at a time, while the temperature in the melting workshop is even higher. It is said that the bottle makers often suffer from hearing damage later on.

There's a classic Chinese novel called *Ordinary World*, which mainly tells the story of the diligence of Chinese workers and the hardships of industrial development. The protagonist, Sun Shao-ping, spends his days working in a coal mine. The underground mines are dark, stuffy, and suffocating, yet he has to work tirelessly. Even his coworkers, who were joking around just a moment ago, can be gone in an instant.
